Your heart is full of fertile seeds, waiting to sprout. -Morihei Ueshiba

Today is the winter solstice (when I wrote this; not necessarily when you get it!), which marks a turning point as the darkest day of the year and the start of the returning light. Even as the demands of the holiday season (shopping, parties, obligatory events) tend to draw us outside of ourselves, this time of year is a great time to turn inward and reflect on what has enriched us in the past year. Welcome to the second installment of Coping With Infertility during the Holidays. We are excited about our upcoming One-Day Fertile Soul retreat (http://www.acudenver.com/workshops.htm) which happens on Sunday, October 2 from 9:00AM-7:00 PM. This day-long workshop has proven to be one of my favorite experiences to share with my patients and other attendees. The presentation is full of information, the work is deep and heart-centered, and by the end of the day everyone feels supported, uplifted, and hopeful. I invite anyone who needs a day of nurturing, connection and heal

I so enjoyed leading our first meditation class and session in the new healing sanctuary at Acupuncture Denver today. It's always good to recall meditation instruction for myself and to spend time sitting in a group. It was a great way to spend sunday morning! We will continue to offer meditation classes/sitting practice on last Sunday of each month. Please see our classes (http://acudenver.com/classes.htm) page for more information. As long as there is no class happening, all of our pat
