Alyssa Beiss

Alyssa Beiss moved to Colorado in 2007 to indulge her love for skiing and the mountains. After spending three years in Vail, she relocated to Denver to return to school. While looking for a college to complete pre-requisites for nursing school, she came across Metro State’s program in Integrative Therapies which not only included those pre-requisites, but also introduced her to the wonders of holistic and alternative medicine.

She came to Acupuncture Denver in February of 2011 and her experience there, as well as a variety of classes in complementary and alternative medicine, has sparked a passion in her for healing with an integrative approach. After she completes her Bachelor’s degree in December of 2012, she hopes to further her education with a degree in nursing, and compliment that with additional studies in alternative therapies.
