Michelle Luiz

Michelle earned her Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in Chicago, Illinois in 2006. She is state licensed and is certified by the NCCAOM. After graduating from PCOM with her MSTOM, she returned to get an additional certification in massage therapy with a focus in Tui na. In April of 2016 Michelle passed the ABORM exam and to become a Fellow of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine. Additionally, she has a Bachelor of Art in psychology.

Before moving to Denver with her husband in 2011, Michelle had a practice in the Bucktown neighborhood of Chicago and was an instructor at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She has ten years of clinical experience and has dedicated herself to studying the complexities of Chinese herbs and formulas. 

After her first two pregnancies, Michelle became experienced intense symptoms of post-partum depression and post-partum OCD. She sought out treatment with Chinese herbs and within two months her symptoms were alleviated. She has since become passionate about helping other mothers recover mentally and physically after childbirth.  Michelle had her third child in March of 2016 with no post-partum symptoms. 


Michelle specializes in Women’s health but is experienced in treating a wide variety of disorders including digestion issues, chronic pain and emotional imbalances.  She uses a variety of Chinese healing modalities including: cupping, moxabustion, and herbs. Her classical approach to Chinese Medicine allows each patient to receive the unique treatment needed for the healing process to begin. Michelle is a sincere believer in the body’s ability to heal once an appropriate environment is established.
